How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to control most of the sounds that come from man's best friend.  Dogs in Okauchee Lake that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught your preferred doggy behavior.  It is their job to bark when an unknown person comes to your Okauchee Lake door but you should teach them that an OK command from you means you have the situation under control and your protector can stop growling.

Another complaint we hear from dog owners is the barking at objects such as a shovel or wheelchairs. These are all items a dog can learn to live with quietly. Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200 times better than your hearing.  He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
