How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to correct most of the sounds that come from dogs.  Dogs in Springfield that bark at the sound of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Springfield door but you should train them that an OK command from you means everything is fine and your protector can stop making noise.

Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a broom or wheelchairs. These are all items a pet can learn to live with quietly. Running fence lines and barking at your Springfield neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your dog from inside the house.  It really doesn't take long for them to learn.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
