How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to correct most of the sounds that come from your pet.  Dogs in McCook that bark at the sound of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your McCook door but you should teach them that an "okay" from you means everything is fine and your protector can stop barking.

Another concern we hear from pet owners is the whining at objects such as a shovel or walkers. These are all items a canine can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your McCook neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable bad dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your canine from inside the house.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
