How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to correct most of the sounds that come from man's best friend.  Dogs in Chicago that bark at the sound of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Chicago house but you should train them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your dog guardian can stop growling.

Another concern we hear from pet owners is the barking at objects such as vacuum cleaners or tractors. These are all things a canine can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Chicago neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your dog from inside the from a distance.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over 200x better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
