How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are steps to control most of the sounds that come from dogs.  Dogs in Butler that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Butler door but you should teach them that an "okay" from you means everything is fine and your protector can stop making noise.

Another complaint we hear from dog owners is the whining at objects such as a broom or rakes. These are all items a canine can learn to live with quietly. Running fence lines and barking at your Butler neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your dog from inside the from a distance.  It really doesn't take long for them to learn.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over 200 times better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your canine when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
