How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are steps to control most of the sounds that come from canine pets.  Dogs in Garden Village that bark at the noise of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught your preferred doggy behavior.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Garden Village door but you should train them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your protector can stop barking.

Another concern we hear from pet owners is the barking at objects such as a broom or walkers. These are all items a pet can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Garden Village neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable bad dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your pet from inside the from a distance.  It really doesn't take long for them to learn.

It's important for you to remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear the sound of a child riding a tricycle several houses away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your dog when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
