How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are ways to control most of the sounds that come from man's best friend.  Dogs in Avalon that bark at the noise of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when an unknown person comes to your Avalon door but you should train them that an "okay" from you means you have the situation under control and your protector can stop making noise.

Another complaint we hear from dog owners is the whining at objects such as a broom or tractors. These are all things a canine can learn to live with quietly. Watching out the window and barking at your Avalon neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your pet from inside the house.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear his dog food being taken out of the car truck in the garage.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
