How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are procedures to control most of the sounds that come from dogs.  Dogs in Dolton that bark at the noise of the family's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught a greeting ritual.  It is their job to bark when an unknown person comes to your Dolton house but you should train them that an OK command from you means everything is fine and your protector can stop growling.

Another complaint we hear from pet owners is the barking at objects such as a shovel or rakes. These are all items a pet can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Dolton neighbors and their dogs is not acceptable inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild shock collar so you can correct your dog from inside the from a distance.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear your car coming from over a block away.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the proper command.
