How Can You Stop The Noise?

Heredity gave dogs voices but there are steps to correct most of the sounds that come from dogs.  Dogs in Blue Island that bark at the sound of the house's doorbell or a knock on the door need to be taught your preferred doggy behavior.  It is their job to bark when a stranger comes to your Blue Island door but you should train them that an OK command from you means everything is fine and your dog guardian can stop making noise.

Another concern we hear from dog owners is the whining at objects such as a broom or walkers. These are all items a pet can learn to live with quietly. Running the property lines and barking at your Blue Island neighbors and their dogs should not be tolerated inappropriate dog behavior either.  This "distance" barking can be corrected through training sometimes needing a mild zap collar so you can correct your dog from inside the house.  This unacceptable dog behavior can be corrected in a short period of time.

Most importantly, you must remember that a dog's hearing is over two hundred times better than your hearing.  He can hear a squirrel running up a tree.  He will respond with his voice.  You just need to learn how to teach your pet when it's time to be quiet when they hear the correct signal.
